Nightmare

 

What a huge nightmare.

This nightmare i had, receiving a new watch with a dink.

The AD have bad and good sides.
Bad.
They did not polished out the dink when i request it.
They do not sell me the asked Frederique Constant.

Good.
They replaced the battery for free as the demand the long life battery change service.
They gave me a real good watch box as a present for purchasing a watch at their shop.







I solved it with using my Longines as a tool watch/ no worry watch.
But that AD, i only use them for replacing the battery as my Longines needs a new battery.

This all will not as bad u had experienced with your Seamaster.
I baby mine with great care, and it is new for a couple of years old watch
I wil not want the tiniest scratch on it, and it would be a catastrophe when i would in the same situation you are in.

That Omega except such a service facility that scratch a customers watch is very very very bad!
In your case, the Omega HQ must be informed. I can imagine Omega would not want this.
This only when you purchased your Seamaster at an Omega AD or boutique.
