Hello everyone....

First off I have been looking for an example of this for many years !!!  This one is not in original condition... but it is what it is !!


Steel pocketwatch from the 1940s.....

i know the hands are a replacement and the dial was repainted.   The bow is a replacement....   But this watch is uncommon and special for a few reasons....

Does anyone care to guess ?   What do you think is special ?   The case is 45.5 mm in diameter.....

Hi Ben I remember holding one in my hand about 20 years ago at the Miami watch show a dealer wanted back then over 2000 USD. I thought that was way too much.... Who knew.... Well I was attracted to the watch two reasons.... Sweep Seconds and it was powere...

Well done ! The dial does not look too bad at all, i could live with that.. Long stick hands and the U-form bow would certainly enhance the piece enormously, as the catalog-picture looks absolutely lovely with it's art-deco characteristics. The case will ...

Hi Ben I was excited to get it, I sent pics to a friend and he did not get it at all..... Haha I just knew you would have been looking for one too.... I also have another "find" on the way to me won't be posting it till I have it in hand....not a rare as ...
