Planet Ocean (not chrono) 45mm tech problems
dear all
my PO's movement has undergone mainteinance after just a few months, the crystal easily scratched, the rubber strap ripped in less than one year.I underline these problems faced in normal use conditions
My question is wether this model is worth the quality they're claiming and the brand Omega too.
Did they test the co-axial architecture properly? Is my PO still a "chronometer" i've paid for after the repair?i still don't know
i think their Quality System is not robust yet and they have a long way to go; being probably focused now too much just on "designing" marketing activities (e.g. the exponential growth year after year of limited editions versions of each model expecially the Speedy) to step up their price index and ensure their sales targets, more than investing in R&D, quality and...aftersales service

Hi all, on the 17th May I have got back my Omega Seamaster Chrono. The reason for the very-very long waiting was partly due to the AD - they kept the watch for two weeks for their own test, a somewhat simplified COSC measurement to be sure that Omega had ...

movement, a lot has been written about the problems with those series of chrono/co-axial movements, and they all scream "don't buy!". I have a 2500C in a SMAT and it's working fine, but the chronos are a different story. I've also heard that Omega service...
