I came across this PF Ionica about a year ago. Six months later the handful of listings I found had not moved. As little as one month ago they were still floating around, neglected and ignored. In the meantime one or two more have become available. The result? I bought one. It seems fellow WPS members did so too.
I'm not an expert and I don't have access to original catalogues. There is just one solitary item in Europa Star from 1999 introducing this line. But I'm literate enough to recognise the astonishing value at today's prices. As you say, this watch in any of its configurations is an unqualified steal. Just look at this thing.

I'd love to hear what you think of their more recent work. I've been a fan of the current generation of Tonda for a while. To my (distant!) eye they don't seem, though, to be done to this same unreasonably high standard. Do you agree?
