And great info. Must be the dial but both Grande and XL look almost the same size.

The second photo gives the most accurate indication of size difference between the Grande and XL. On the wrist, the difference is more noticeable in length than width but both wear very comfortably on my wrist. Thanks again.

The Kalpagraphe is uber comfortable on the wrist and can easily be worn all day without the slightest discomfort, but on an eyeball test, it is a bit overpowering. Thanks for commenting. M4

I agree with rootbeer that the first 2 look similar in size, and the grande looks thicker than 9.5mm in that stacked photo.

And what a wonderful trio you have! Size wise, the Grande is the only one I could pull off, but I also like the dial of your XL very much. Best, Emmanuel

I will lean towards the Grande and XL cases here. But I imagine what kind of amazing complications could fit in that Kalpagraphe case.

My wrist is about a touch less than 17cm. I have been trying to decide between: a Grande, (rose gold case, automatic) which is perfectly comfortable, and a Grande XL (stainless hebdomadaire movement, black dial blue accents), which fits less well than the... 

Yes, the Kalpa Grande should fit your wrist very well. I understand the desire for the XL because of the movement. You also might look at the Parmigiani Ionica. It preceded the Kalpa XL and was the original case for the 8-day hebdomadaire movement. The Io... 

Having tried it on. Nice movement, but it seems the Parmigiani of that era piecea have such ridiculously small crowns (the ionica, the toric tourbillon) that take the fun out of winding an 8-day / tourbillon movement. Chk
