This reference was first released in 1998, when 42mm was still considered unusually large for a dress watch. Patek didn't create the big watch trend that began a few years later; if anything, it just followed that trend after it began. So why did Patek fe...

the mismatch between case size and movement is the perceived shortcoming. That said, I would change absolutely nothing about this dial if we had to pair this movement with a 42mm case.

It might not be perfect but so what ? It is perfect as it is at least in my eyes 😉 Mine says hi… ...

The R iteration is equally beautiful but looks so much different at the same time. A much more flamboyant version than the G 😍😍
