5167a calendar problem - cured with wear?
I've been wearing my new 5167a for about the past month and have noticed a slight problem. About 4 or 5 times within the past month, I have had to adjust the date so that it fully appears in its window. It's a periodic problem.
The watch is still under warranty (nearly another 2 years) and my AD advises me to continue to wear it for another 2 to 3 months. Their rationale is that is takes some time for the gearing and mechanism to "settle" ; there is a possibility that through continuous wear that the problem will cure itself.
Has anyone found this type of problem to cure itself? Or, should I press the issue an have it adjusted right away, knowing these types of problems are not cured with wear?
TIA!

I would not swallow this "settling" explanation. Each watch will have gone through a "settling" period well before being sold. It is a part of the Geneva seal. I am not sure how many hours it will have already been tested, but plenty enough for any issue ...
