Fragility
I just bought one and absolutely love it. The guy I bought it from literally wrote the book. Wanting to be a responsible owner I asked the very same question. His feeling was bad or inexperienced repair work was mostly the culprit. Not change in temp or shock (within reason). I did however "Christian" it at a toll booth the other day on my partially opened window. Now it has a very lovely scratch along the back. Oh well.

I agree with you. It is the most important that the watch has a perfect dial (.....with no crack,hairline). The case is also in perfect condition. (never polised,sharp edge) Rated 98% (total)...
