Choosing between the 5959 and 3939 would be very difficult for me. Even though my daily beater is an inexpensive 41mm titanium, I much prefer the smaller pieces because of their elegance.

What I am suggesting is that the movement for the 5959 should never be utilised in any other watches as the purpose of the 5959 would be defeated. It was proclaimed, and correctly so, as a feat in the making and so to cannibalise it for other means would ...

Your preference is impeccable. 5950 and 5951 are indeed interesting pieces.
