What I am suggesting is that the movement for the 5959 should never be utilised in any other watches as the purpose of the 5959 would be defeated. It was proclaimed, and correctly so, as a feat in the making and so to cannibalise it for other means would devalue the primary intent. The 5959 was intended as a showcase of the capabilities of Patek and it should have remained as such, it was a challenge and an achievement.
Perhaps, Patek needs to recuperate the investment in the development of the movement by expanding its scope and reach. If anything the 7059R should have remained faithfully to the original concept sans diamonds.
Mine is merely an opinion.

Not as easy for me
Choosing between the 5959 and 3939 would be very difficult for me. Even though my daily beater is an inexpensive 41mm titanium, I much prefer the smaller pieces because of their elegance.
