So is that the back side of the case back ring or......?
Hi,...it looks to me as if your pic is showing the reverse side of the gold ring that holds the sapphire back crystal in place,.... is that correct?
If so that surprises me, because then the "case" number actually follows a removable ring. So I don;t think that's it......
I would have expected the case number to be maybe located on the case behind the top bezel support, and maybe that's what your picture is showing. Since the 5107 has the crown protecting lugs, this would have been more obvious on ":that" case reference.
......I suspect that's it,.....on lots of these newer models.

Just to confirm from another source. I have a 5107g with an extract from the archives, the case number is indeed different from the movement number. I also cannot locate the case # on my watch. When you do resolve this issue please share it with the forum...

Thanks for the responses,......even though I was hoping there was "some" place on the outside or visible on the inside of the case through the saphire back that would allow seeing the case number required to get an Abstract from the Archives. Geeze,.....I...
