Thanks for the responses,......even though I was hoping there was "some"
place on the outside or visible on the inside of the case through the
saphire back that would allow seeing the case number required to get an
Abstract from the Archives. Geeze,.....I don't have a local PP dealer
nearby (Albany, NY area) to correctly open the case to get the number. (
New York City and the hassles and cost to get there is the closest PP
AD and about 190 miles each way)
And of course a non-AD is not
likely to have the special rectangular lugged wrench necessary to remove
the back without leaving marks I'd think.

Just to confirm from another source. I have a 5107g with an extract from the archives, the case number is indeed different from the movement number. I also cannot locate the case # on my watch. When you do resolve this issue please share it with the forum...
