The 5004 seems very thick.
I didn’t know it was unreliable as well: not a good point… On paper, the 5959 (P or R with black dial) appeals to me more, I think. But what I would like in real life is hard to tell...
I would agree that the 5959 and 5370 are great with only 2 sub dials.
Notice how the moon phase is “up” in the 5004 and “down” in the 5204 & 5308.
My favourites would be
5959 with white dial and the 5270 with black dial.. and I prefer the movement in the 5959, just needs to be bigger ~ 38, would have been perfect Somehow the 5004 doesn’t speak to me.. and the 5204s moles do not speak to me
My preference goes to the 5959 & 5370 too.
5004 is too thick and I don’t like the lumed hands of the 5204 (I don’t mind the moles too much personally). Thanks for looking.
My personal preference goes to
5959, 5370 & 5372. The 5308 certainly is a “tour de force” but it seems to me to be a big chunk of a watch!
It certainly is and I probably have kept my mouth shut, really sorry for that.
I would just say that the 5207P (which looks fantastic on your wrist) has a less busy dial because of the absence of the chronograph. Also it has a moon phase looking up (vs down on the 5308), which I like more. And, more importantly, it is 41 x 13,81mm (...

The original Patek 5959P is a top notch piece of watchmaking all-around and has not been diminished in the years that have passed since its release. It's an anti-fashion watch, with its small size and old fashioned sensibilities, almost certainly delicate...

Which one is your favorite ? For 5959 and 5004 are simply GRAILS ! I had the opportunity to try 5959 on the wrist and this smaller watch pack a BIG punch 🤛 ! ...
I have seen none in real life,
so my feeling is very unreliable. But I think my preference goes to the models with only two subdials (less busy, “cleaner”-looking): 5370 & 5959.
