5740G and 5711P (non 40th anniversary version), 5990 and 5712 a more distant third and fourth
Think the blue and also the precious metal heft on the wrist on the 5740G and 5711P (non anniversary versions) appeal the most to me. 5740G for its beautiful symmetrical yet practical nature. 5711P because it’s such a simple yet beautiful iteration of the original icon. 5990 with its lovey light grey dial and symmetry. 5712 because of its quaint and still attractive asymmetry

I definitely agree with your comments. The rose gold blue dial version of the 5990 is stunning, although I think in more ways than one
it might be a bit much for me. It will be quite heavy and definitely not an under the radar watch. I do think, for better or worse, it will raise both the profile and desirability of the steel version.

Every time I put on a 3700 on the wrist (I don't own one), I feel in the seventh heaven.
