Highly recommended and the composite strap is soft and very comfortable to wear. No problem with the hot, wet summer.

I have a good bunch of Patek
in gold and platinum. However, a sporting watch in my books is made of steel (Patek). Other manufacturers use ceramics, titanium and other materials suitable for sporting watches. Best Kari

5980R is gorgeous
Sorry for my late reply. The 5980R is a bit top heavy but it doesn't bother me. The composite strap is very comfortable. The watch wears very differently than the steel one. 5980R is way more substantial on wrist. Hope this helps.

This is the watch to go! Congratulations! You will never get bored of it. Many ppl think a Nautilus should be on bracelet. But, 5980R and 5712R can easily stand on their own.
