Much prefer the original 5270 dial.

... Looks just ok, not waow. Though i prefer to judge when i see it live. The blue hand of the chrono looks really odd. Plus it looks like the dials is "dry", kind of "flat"... The brushed dial of our 5270G is much more interesting. Actually this one is c... 

It looks like my 4 year old drew the tach on. The 27 and 5 on date wheel are brutal. I am ok, with the colors but, the blue second hand. The strap is what I have on my 5270G. Here is to a clean dial that absolutely pops with light. White or Blue?

... i am afraid that the new one might not hold the test of time. I think that the original design is more pure, simple and in the same time, sophisticated. Everything feels right at its place. Contrast with markers and hands are stunning, etc... ok, you ...

Makes the dial look lopsided to the right.. completely unbalanced. What a shame.. Loving my OG 5270 more and more every time I look at this awful "new" dial.

Amazing, the new 5270 lives!!!! I quite like the new dial layout. Adds a bit of character and I fancy blue.

Oliver, I look forward to hearing your comments about the 5270G-015. Like many others who have posted here, I am not very impressed by the live pics. Perhaps it's just the lighting and angle, but I also think the original 5270G-001 looks better.

... but I really like the 5130 Munich edition. It is a nice touch to have the bavarian flag reproduced in the guilloche pattern :-) Thanks for the pics. Looking forward to more impressions. Georg

It must be supremely disconcerting for Patek to have to replace a brand new model of this level, after such a short time. The new version, if that is is, still has a weird incoherence, that is inexplicable! Why the strange 'dip' at the bottom of the secon... 

The more perplexed and frankly stunned I am at this design... it's something that would never have been created by Patek even 10 years ago... Is Patek struggling to retain great designers? Well, again, many will love it, and many will buy it. Sorry for do... 

Since I had a chance to attend the exhibition (thank you again Oliver for the nice time spent together), and further to the numerous negative comments about this "new" 5270G dial, I wish to clarify something about this specific dial : no this controversia...  

Personnally, as I don't like brushed iron like dials in Patek watches, the new one seems more appealing to me. ...even if I'm much more eager to see the R or P versions that will certainly pop up one day in the future... Cheers, Mark
