Patek Philippe

When it was first introduced in 2017, I was attracted to the clean, balanced dial and the retro-looking way of displaying day/dates. And I like the whole art deco-ish style about it. From time to time, a glimpse the watch did herald a few minutes of wild ...  

I too am attracted to this model for pretty much the same reasons. I also like the healthy dose of lume on a watch that is not a divers watch or sporty in any way.

Like you, I bought it from AD at retail and most Patek PCs (except the nautilus), the secondary market price tend to be lower. This watch marks an important career milestone and is a keeper. Stay well!

And I am satsified with this #5320. It stands in unique & specaial position in the Patek price was very high until 2018 but has come down reasonable now

And yes, there’s strong resemblance to the 1591. Saw the Ref 1591 at Patek’s Grand Exhibition last year - when the world was a different place then. ...  

Love mine since day 1 too ... The only thing that i can hardly understand is that i have never seen or read any negative feedback on this watch ... (in general either neutral or positive) but ..... when you see the trend it is one watch that loses value o...  

My observation - in general - is that the watch buying population is becoming more and more polarised between Sports and Dress watches. With casual dressing and now Covid working from home arrangements, the role of dress watches perhaps, may be taking a b... 

I will keep it, also because this is my first and only perpetual calendar .... I agree with you independent have crazy pieces, i like a lot what Rexhapi is doing but i m also a bit worried about what will happen in 10 years .... Will they be able to maint... 

At an AD in a small village which was lovely. The case has a touch of baroque in it but I really liked it. I am not too surprised that this is a luke warm piece second hand: not steel and not sport. Hard but simple.

Personally, I have been vexed by how i would/should approach watch collecting when I am 60, 70 or even 80. Another discussion for another day. Stay well!

It does get lost in the collection because of all the focus on the sports watch craze and relatively high price point. However, for me, it fits perfectly as a "simple" grand complication that is legible, versatile, warm yet sharp and executed very well. I... 

I think two reason --- 1 perepetual cacendar(PC) is not so popular and people who are interested in PC model prefer formal classic type. 2 this dial looks somehow plastic and acrylic in other word cheap material. but even though I love #5320 and I like th... 

...the lugs are fantastic and I really like the hands. I'm not so sure about the markers at 5 and 7...they don't seem to fit somehow.

...but how many times are you checking the time in the dark? There must be a better way...I love everything else about the watch.

I love that combo. Just about to buy my 5320 Do you happen to know the specification of that strap. Is it a PP supplied strap. It sets the watch on fire. I love it. Is it this one from the PP catalogue ...
