The polite thing to do in this scenario is to have the “cousin” reach out to any AD and see if he can get some answers to the difficulties of obtaining a Patek at list prices…never mind a “discount”?!? Some people do not understand and thinks those with “connections” are the ones making the secondary market’s inflation. He needs to understand sometimes money cannot even buy “happiness”! 😉

My mom reaches out to me last night and says her best friend is trying to get a watch, can I help by talking to my AD? I said sure I’ll see what I can do, knowing damn well that if they want a Patek, literally there is nothing I can do. I speak to my moms...
