And I agree with the pros and cons you mentioned for other WT references. For myself, it is the scissors hand and the center sunburst dial that won me over despite the proportion. The movement is also slightly more refined when adjusting the time zones.

I can understand why you love this watch so much : a very significant PP.
The proportions are just perfect : dial opening vs. case width/height and lug-to-lug : much better than any of the successors! About ten years ago I was very very close to get this watch : still having regrets .... Best, Gerard
