Finally, won a watch at auction - Christie NY Online. I've never owned a watch with a cover. Looks cool. PATEK OFFICERS WATCH, REF. 5153, circa 2014, white gold, 38mm, CALIBER: 324 SC. There's a nice 21k gold rotor, but the watch does not hack? Fortunate... 

Would you do it again? What would you do differently? How do you think the "defects" you've now found effect the value you placed on the watch... regardless you've got something truly great here - enjoy!

Auctions are always risky even with big names like Christies and Sotheby. Normally, I would ask for a full set of photos, particular for older watches. This time I didn't because how much damage could a 2014 watch have? Haha! I can live with the damages o...

You have a great watch. I say this as I owned the same model for 6 months and it was a reliable and elegant companion. The only reason why I had to let it go was to finance another Patek, my 7200R London Edition.
