Dear Bruno,
First of all, I earlier refused a 5711/1P. After some time I regretted but the watch was gone already. My perspective was that Nautilus is a sporting watch and for such a purpose platinum is not the best material. Furthermore, if a watch is costing 100k, I would expect to see something special (at least finishing) in the movement.
Today I am upset but it's a culmination of a longer process. I have felt how Patek is sailing further and further away from its roots.
You will see during the first half of next year at least some of my Nautilus in auction. I feel that the great heritage was flushed down today.

In the past the collectors knew what made each piece special
now Patek makes it "fool prove" for the "collector" by writing what is special about this piece in letters on the dial? Lucky it is far out of my reach, this labelled special piece. Best Moritz

Whilst many will be underwhelmed I get the wait for 50. The platinum is a nice piece and well the blue looks good on any Nautilus however I\'m not personally a fan of the "40" text. I find the size reference intriguing and wonder how the Chrono stacks up ...
