Decision made, which has now been fulfilled..................
As some of you may remember?
A couple of months ago I started a thread,about the two new Annual Calendars (5726A or 5205G).
Well on Tuesday night, my Wife and I attended one of annual evening's, at our AD.
Then on Wednesday morning, we returned to the store, so that I could collect this beauty 
,
In the first photos, the date etc was as when it had left the factory.
But then I started to "Play" with it, and after carefully reading the instructions, we were all set!

I have not seen this watch in real sofar but nice pictures ! PP's case for a calendar watch looks really great and this one is a very subtle exampel of them. A really elagant, wearable complicated watch with a nice, decent size case for this complication....

Congratulations... a tiny quibble... perhaps the Patek font could be a tad/ hair smaller.... no matter... stunning piece and the case lugs are an exquisite design detail. Great presence on and off the wrist and beautiful pics.

Hi, Congratulations for your purchase. I've long hoped for a 5146G and when I saw this one last spring it didn't make me change my mind, but after a few months I'm more and more tempted. I wish to try it again and see, as it is still a somewhat large PP. ...

Patrickh, having roughly measured the depth, I would set it at about 17mm Mostel, I hear what you are saying, not sure whether the slight increase in the font, is part of a new trend or something else, perhaps PP believe that our eyesight is getting worse...

your last point, a watchmaker told me that he prefers tank buckles so you can view the complication better (vis a vis a deployment buckle) Cheers

Definitely a great looking watch but sooo bulky on the wrist. I know it is fashionable to have large and hefty waches these days. However, after going through sequences of 5146G, 5146P, and 5960P I ended up with a 5140G. Which I simply adore. Perfect size...
