To fit the PP buckle. All PP straps end in 16 cm.
No restrictions to buy a SS buckle for me.
Do not forget that the 5960 A case has notches cut out between the lugs where the strap attaches. They are covered by the endlinks for the bracelet but quite visible with a strap, but I guess you knew this already. Btw - how much did a SS deployant buckle...

I see what you mean and how it would bother some collectors. Makes sense.
You can consider a custom strap from PP, with a black textile and red stitching.
And pin buckle makes sense too.

This one is a very dark blue and appears almost black. And you you’re right it should be black.

Is it black or blue? It appears black but thought the 5740P strap is blue.
