I'm glad to read your opinion that way. I think that the curiosity and hope of always wanting the next novetly to be better than anything we saw before leads our heart but this is not how life works!
People can have very different tastes indeed and opening to new standards can lead to quite a nice discovery.
Your last sentence is true for many watches and I can't count the number of times I changed my mind from pics afterwards.

In the past the collectors knew what made each piece special
now Patek makes it "fool prove" for the "collector" by writing what is special about this piece in letters on the dial? Lucky it is far out of my reach, this labelled special piece. Best Moritz

Whilst many will be underwhelmed I get the wait for 50. The platinum is a nice piece and well the blue looks good on any Nautilus however I\'m not personally a fan of the "40" text. I find the size reference intriguing and wonder how the Chrono stacks up ...
