It was a surreal time, our hospital segregated into different work zones and plastic sheeting isolating hallways, etc. I always liked the 5196p, for me the seconds hand is a little too high and would prefer no numerals in the subdial. Just let those Bregu... 

regarding the 5196p, I must confess I love that sub seconds dial but that's the beauty , we all love different things , stay safe

My department did okay but we had some docs in the hospital die from complications. I think this is why watches, cars, houses are in such high demand. People realize life is short want to spend some. Also market returning 40%+ is a bonus. Hopefully these ... 

of this reference are perfect, smaller dimensions but wider lug width makes it wear larger than it implies. Lets hope an updated version doesn’t get the same treatment as 6119 which totally neglects those with slimmer wrists…..

I saw a 5196P in the metal for the first time in February 2020, also just before the pandemic hit. The dial is just spectacular, and on impulse I traded my existing Calatrava (a 5107P) for it on the spot. I loved photographing the watch, but I didn't love...

Back to the 5196P, yes I strongly think that it gained its " lettres de noblesse " with years passing. I loved it owned it and sadly lost it. One of the watches I really and deeply regret. Is everything perfect? By far not, but I like its flaws, as they a...

Logically, because this reference has a solid case back it doesn’t really matter if the movement case ratio is not optimal. Regarding the sub dial sitting higher and not sandwiched between the 5 and 7, I personally think it is fine. At least there is no d...
