I have the same general thoughts about the 5196
I saw a 5196P in the metal for the first time in February 2020, also just before the pandemic hit. The dial is just spectacular, and on impulse I traded my existing Calatrava (a 5107P) for it on the spot. I loved photographing the watch, but I didn't love wearing it. It never really fit my wrist, despite the 37 mm size. It's heavy for its size and very flat, and it wears almost like a silver dollar on the wrist. Because I don't keep watches that I don't love wearing, I traded it away earlier this year. I should stress, though, that this was only my personal experience with the watch on my own, very thin wrist. Results will vary!

Proportions
of this reference are perfect, smaller dimensions but wider lug width makes it wear larger than it implies. Lets hope an updated version doesnāt get the same treatment as 6119 which totally neglects those with slimmer wristsā¦..
