There is indeed a rumour going around that the sector dial version of the 5296 is no longer in production. I have been told by my AD that the sector dial version of the 5296 will only be given to select stores around the world although I suspect the numbe... 

Hi, I've asked PP about that but got no list of discontinued models unfortunately. I'd be surprised to hear that a watch they advertise currently is discontinued! Dje

...a Patek NA representative, and asked that very same question. What he told me was that as far as the models go for 2008 the 5296G 001 is not a discontinued model. He mentioned that it is becoming harder to find, but that there was definitely no word fr...

My AD called PP, spoke with the right party, and confirmed that the 5296 is no more. My AD is the second largest PP dealer in the US, and has always given me accurate advice, and now, I have no reason to doubt. BB The Goal is Soul
