Based on my limited knowledge of Patek timepieces, all three 3796 you have shown are rare items. The first one is a 3796D with a Hobnail patterned case. Very sall number of this watch were made, according to an old sales person. The second one belongs to a limited edition made for a Taiwan AD ( Wu Shan?) for its anniversary. The last one is of course a platinum one so no need for me to say too much. So congratulations again.
By the way, my wrist is also small and it has suffered a lot for bearing heavy watches, and needs a break sometimes with a light one such as 3796.

Enamel or Not Enamel

Interesting! I went to Antiquorum's website to check
its data base and found out that on 13th November 2005 there was a exactly the same 3796 with ruby indexes on auction in Geneva. According to the item description, this watch has a porcelain dial. So the experts at Antiquorum may also make a mistake here....
We know this for sure but it makes me more confused
while "listening" to experts from Antiquorum. They used both enamel and porcelain for the same watch on different auctions. Haha ZM

I must add that for the clock market the two terms are interchangeable. I was also initially confused by this terminology when I started my clock collection.

i believe patek calatrava 96 has made in enamel dial, but that was long time ago. regarding modern 3796, according to Antiquorum june 2002' Hongkong auction, one particular calatrava made special has black enamel dial ... but i cant be sure of the dial be...
