But would personally not compare these two because the 5960 I love is the white dial on leather strap, that makes it very unique, and the 5905p in black dial. Therefore they are 2 very different watches in these combos. The 5960/1a is a more sportier watch IMHO. The 5905p black dial is a more every day watch, I think.
So both would go very well in a collection 
But We could compare the 5905p blue dial with the 5960p blue dial, but to be honest, I am not fond of these blue dials...

Now, the trend it to use a little more yellow gold and use 2-tone models (like the 5550P in 2011 and the 5496P this year). Maybe something on the basis of the 5711 in the future? We'll see.
