I’m Literally Blind
I kept thinking to myself I love this green dial on the new 5270p but it doesn’t look good as my 5270j that I own. Till it hit me- I just figured out what is missing. And as much as I wanted to eventually add the P to my collection- I have zero interest in the watch now as as an addition as much as I think the green dial is one of the most beautiful I’ve seen. But something is missing and it took me this long to figure out what.

Elegant vs Sporty
By: Greenwatch : July 26th, 2022-00:34
J is the elegant elder sibling while P is the sporty younger sibling. J is exacting and definite with the tachymeter, P is free-wheeling and carefree with missing tachymeter. I guess it all boils down to taste and personality. P gets my nod though. ☺️ ...
Some great observations

And after weeks of trying to figure out what it is that was different about the P- some astute observers have explained it. The P is much more sporty, more modern looking. I kept thinking it would look great on a shade or rubber strap. Great with jeans/. ...

was offered the p two weeks ago from my AD and something felt wrong with the watch to me - I believe that this special green shade will not be something that I will like in a few years ahead. and it tries to be more sporty but it does not fit with the lay...

I was hoping this watch would be available one day with dauphin hands, wich I find absolutely matching and an upgrade for this powerful 41mm case. Now they got me! The green gradient dial took me by surprise and I think it’s drop dead gorgeous. The dial i...

but for different reasons... although they share reference numbers the identity of them are very different. I like everything they have done with the green P. It has a younger vibe and I think it will be a future classic. The J is a modern classic in its ...
Great reference

All personal preference as the 5270 is a great reference, better with the tachymeter for me. In my opinion, the best was the 5270p and personally I think they should have finished production with the salmon P dial. Not a fan of the green dial.
