I must say I'm quite appealed by these proportions
At the beginning the "hamburger" shape was really not my thing.
But the more I saw the 3970 for instance or this 5004 in pictures I feel the charm indeed.
Concerning the reliability, I don't know, but I heard about there was a possible "update" during servicing time.
From the Patek watchmaker I could talk with, the movement seems to be so difficult to reduce that much that I can eprsonally imagine they could have been facing this kind of issue at the beginning.

and I also like the new 5204 black dial version. But in the end, the 3/9 registers really balances the watch for me. I don't care as much for the lowered registers. Just a personal preference. Best Joe

Very nice. A technical marvel. An aesthetic beauty.
I particularly like the steel version. Being a chrono it is also a watch with a function that is also sporty , hence the steel version fits or suits the watch nicely. My opinion. Thanks for highlighting this patek mark. Cheers Geross
