Patek Philippe

Thanks for the excellent writeup. I am yet to be convinced by this one. However I know what generally happens with PP once I try it on the wrist. However I still focus on the shortcomings, which to me is not the design, but more the size 42 vs an ideal 40...

the trouble with you my friend, is that you know too much. :-) too much horological culture! I personally think it is sad to see a make like Patek Philippe entering this fashionable neo-vintage market, and entering it in that manner. There are other makes... 

after that I disliked the watch a lot. I spoke with a person whose opinion I respect and he had just similar feeling till he took the watch into his hands. He told me "actually I think I love the watch, have a try". I will handle the watch in the end of M...

Having not seen it in person I don't want to be too critical. But so far, I'm surprised, it lacks Patek Philippe DNA, and I still don't recognize it as a Patek Philippe model. Lastly, I don't really give it that much attention because I'm not seeking this... 

as the owner of 2 traditional Pateks, the Nautilus 5712G and complication 5205R, i have to admit that this watch is a brave move from Patek and one that will prove to be right. they need from time to time to disturb the industry with such moves, else, the...
