I think price and availability in comparison to the 5711...
is partially responsible for the increased popularity of the aquanaut. However, I think it could surpass the 5711 with a little tweaking. For starters, I would ONLY change the part of the casing where it attaches to the strap so that you can fit the 5711 bracelet. I think that would make a lot of people jump for joy! Secondly, I would play around with the color scheme quite a bit, JUST for this model. Maybe a black dial with red minute hand and some red accents. Perhaps, a blue dial with orange accents. You see where I’m going with this. There is a lot of potential for this model and a lot of opportunity to have fun. I feel it would be more acceptable to play around with the aquanaut than to change the already perfect 5711.

You are right... I am interested in people's opinon on the value of the Aquanaut. Somedays I love mine and some days it leave me cold, that's why I have the 5100 (I can't see myself letting that one go) and the 6000.

i think yes based on the fact that this one is the entry level sports model from the manufacturer even now the
premium is very similar on the secondary market and if the trend continues the gap will be narrower , myself didn t really care with Aquas used to be but I m on a list at my AD .
