2551 is a great vintage watch - the case style, self winding movement, and relative rarity (in yellow gold) are top level. That said, in white gold or platinum it is even at a much, much higher level of

give it a lovely heft and clarity the lugs on this ref are amazing imho compared to 2526 or 2552 case and buckle by wenger ...
Thanks for the info and great images. If the definition of the lug reflects the overall case condition, your 2551 case is in superb condition! Interesting about Wenger, which is famously known for making most of the 2499 case
