Thanks my friend, I didn't want to express a preference, but I'd be hard for me as well (theme of the watch aside, since as you know I have a strong love affair with Boccadasse...but that's independent of the technique! ;-))

To be completely honest

Thanks a lot, Fram -- great to have a first vote also for the wood marquetry and for J.B. (the only person authorized to make these incredible dials for Patek -- hence also their rarity compared to the other crafts!). Cheers :-)

Big congrats Fabrizio. They are all super special but I must say I love the miniature 🖼! Also, please show us more of these colourful shoes!

I agree with you maybe not for winter but those are one of the best looking shoes I have seen! They feel quite special and unique!

Thanks so much, I discovered Harris (a shoemaker/small brand from Tuscany) a few years ago and started buying a bunch of their shoes..love their quality, looks, and comfort..these new pythons, while more casual than others, quickly became a favorite!😉🥂

I do remember you were also in the process of making a decision on the 5088 :-) A key factor for me (besides its incredible beauty when it sits on the wrist! ;-)) was also the -- relative -- rarity of this piece.

Thanks for your input. For instance, I was shocked when I learnt the enormous ability and patience that is required to do wood marquetry at this level (so much so that only one artist is authorized make the dials for Patek!)...

I can only imagine the difficulty in making a marquetry piece with the level of details like yours!
