I find the 2514 quite delightful too. And I think I would like the platinum/yellow gold ref. 2487 very much.

Some of them are really beautiful vintage Patek Philippe watches.
But the one thing that really struck me as odd was the thickness of them even the manual wind watches seem to be quick thick and sorry but side view of the Ref 2540 makes it look like a pebble to me. Marc
This thickness was perhaps part of the aesthetic.

I think you're right, Gary: Patek is faithful to its history with the round movement of the Cubitus
