.....as during the pre Lehman/credit crunch period when the world economy was riding the giant credit wave, one would be hard pressed to locate the 5712/1a as it would be pre-sold in double sealed boxes, which was far from any state of "normality". I've walked passed this Patek AD on my way to work for the last 6 years and yesterday was the first occasion that I've seen it on display. Furthermore, I've lost count how many ADs I've visited in NYC, HK, Singapore, Paris, Zurich during my travels and not once have I spotted it in the flesh on display.
