Patek Philippe

We can all understand !

In tough economic times, luxury watches' sales is sluggish.  Cause we all know we do not need a luxury watch to tell the time.  And I do think nowadays, not only Patek but a lot of the fine Swiss watch companies are charging too much for their products.  We cannot blame the Chinese who now has lot of money to buy luxury goods.  It is mainly the decisions of watch companies that they think they can charge whatever consider reasonable as long as their is someone willing to pay.

I bought a SS Daytona with black dial last year with a bit of discount since I purchase mostly from that particularly AD for the last 10 years.  A friend of mine called yesterday that he dropped by that AD the other day thinking of buying a SS Daytona, but the AD refused to give any discount.  He said he wanted to wait.  But my advice to him was, if he could wait, wait.  However, in the long run, all fine Swiss watches prices always go up.  So if he really want the Daytona badly, buy it and reward himself for the hard work that he's done.

I do not think prices will go down, all we can hope is it will stay stable so more of us can afford finer pieces.

Best regards,

Baxter
