It's the strap!
I bought a 6007G-010 from my AD nearly two years ago, but have not worn it much compared to my 5524G.
Last week I saw a YouTube video on the 6007G-010 that began by showing the watch without it's strap, and the penny dropped.
In a flash I realised that what I do not like about the watch is actually the strap, which is way too fussy and fights with the watch head for attention.
And so I have commissioned a plain black Nappa leather strap with silver stitching from Visconti, which will allow the watch itself to take centre stage.

Simple is better
This has been a good year for collecting. Recently I managed to pick a 6007G. I really like it, I think the yellow accents makes it really pop. It reminds me someone here that bought one and called it the Singha beer colors (not sure if anyone remembers)....
