Hi, congratulations on a very nice choice! I've unfortunately never seen it for real but I've long looked at it! Due to the special form and thinness of the case I suppose the screw is used to prevent the back from opening? I have no more information but ...

I guess Patek Philippe would never design such an odd screw on the back. A big eye-sore --oouch! Even if it is an original part, why shouldn't it be rose gold as well? Larry

I don't think that I would go as far as to say aftermarket, but the different color does seem odd. I have a RG 5010 which uses 4 RG screws to affix the back. Different reference, different time period, yes, but...
