. . . Glashutte Original and Omega . . . I never get the feeling they're doing me a favor when I buy their product! Still, I have enormous respect for Patek, and the 5105, in my humble and inexperienced opinion, hits a lot of marks simultaneously . . . fabulous vintage movement made the old-fashioned way, art-deco design, brushed and polished case, and exclusivity derived from limited production. I've long felt that the 5109P and 5000 were the only Pateks that I would ever consider buying, but the 5105 has joined the list. Cordially, Art

My understanding was that it was only available through the geneva boutique and has long sold out.....
I called the Geneva Boutique about it a couple of weeks ago
and the lady I spoke to asked me to send her my contact details as she said that "the management" had not yet decided how to allocate the watches.

I've told my Patek AD that he has a great job - people going to him to ask him to do them a favour by him allowing them to buy something from him!
why can't we ever get these great pieces in the US?
My AD gets everything 1 year after all the gray market guys and internet resellers have it in stock and he gets nothing unique even when it's ordered. Why is that? Also how can a guy like (dealer ref. edited) , and other internet dealers, who are not an A...

When did you get yours? I am curious because after I sent them an e-mail enquiring about the status, I got an e-mail from them 3 days ago saying that the 5105s had not yet been "attributed" (sic).
