I like the 5711P. Not so sure about the large Chrono.

The first thing I noticed was the size of the date aperture at 3 o'clock. It appears to be much smaller, maybe square, with just enough room for the number to show. Not that it's not attractive, just that it was the first thing I noticed, even before the ...

your AD had to submit your name by the end of last week. Allocation has this week taken place and people have been advised of their allocation. No idea if further rounds of allocation will take place or if it is being done the same elsewhere.

AD submits name of person deemed suitable for the allocation. Application form completed and notified if allocation is approved. AD can take names to submit next year for pieces that fell through during delivery. Need to submit address as well since it is... 

I had my particulars taken but I see no actual \'form\' filled. Anyways, the AD said that they would \'pass it on\' to Geneva for allocation decision. I do hope that that\'s done... I\'d be cross if it wasn\'t. KR

The colours of 5711 and 5976 are very similar. The white gold case of 5976 did not have any yellowish hue as far as I could see. But as a fan of platinum, the choice would be easy for me in case I would get one. Best, Kari

My PP rep clearly stated (prior to the announcement of the 5711P LE) that the regular 5711P special order will no longer be made. (Unless you hear something else otherwise).

platinum looks like platinum. That's why I love platinum. But the WG is not yellowish at all. It's just not platinum but gold. Best, Kari

I would be very surprised if they were actually individually numbered. However reading the press release I see where there is confusion.

"The Nautilus Ref. 5711/1P 40th Anniversary in platinum 950 is being crafted in a limited edition of 700 individually numbered watches."
