Patek Philippe

Lately, I've been using the 5712A more often for everyday use.

Up until now, my go-to everyday watch has overwhelmingly been the 5711. It was the first PP watch I ever bought. Of course, it’s very comfortable to wear and easy to read, and since it was secondhand, I also had the peace of mind that it would be okay even if it got a little scratched.I remember that when I bought it in 2012, the 5711 was more expensive than the 5712.However, after that, I gradually became drawn to the 5712 as well. And luckily, last March, I managed to get my hands on one at AD, right after it was announced that it would be discontinued. Of course, since it was brand new, I was somehow afraid of scratching it, so I didn't use it for everyday wear.

However, after using the 5712 for a few days on a whim, I was once again impressed by the excellent balance of its dial, despite the difficulty in reading the date, and I’m enjoying the charm of its petite complications. I don't use the moon phase, but I think it's a very good design feature. Right now, the 5712 is in the best position as my everyday wrist companion.
