Lovely watch! Congrats! But a couple things
This is a third series and I thought all third series came with solid back and see through back regardless of metal. I'm surprised to hear that the platinum one you believe did not come with the see-through back. Where did you hear that?
Also I love my 3970r but the official case measurement is 36mm and not 37mm. I actually would like it to have been 37 or even 37.5 but alas it is 36
