Luv my 5050, so easy to set them, nothing like 3940. It's quicker than the quickset dates of other makes. LoL
It's super legible, every time I wear mine, I luv to set the calendar, it's a breeze and a joy.
Luv my simple calatravas too, I have best of both complications (or none of it) from the same brand.

Your 5496P has a very clean and balanced dial with apertures, and the information
in the apertures is becoming more difficult to read. Emotions vs logic: you decide and please let us know your decision Personally I would do it especially if 5496P does not get enough love
