My sincere congrats Justin on your first WT acquisition! Eight years later this is still one hugely beloved Patek, and for some great reasons! ;-)
As someone who's against paying above retail, of course I hope your fellow gang member and Purist friend gave you a.....special treatment, given the crazy values this reference has been going for on the secondary market since day one! 
(BUT, still much less than its alternative and my personal WT favorite, the 5131P! ;-))
And as usual, you beautifully matched it with a terrific strap --- the purple alligator is just perfect on this black dial! Enjoy.
