Does anyone here know anything about raised enamel lettering and Swiss Hallmark of Patek 570? I have seen pieces with raised enamel lettering and some without. Which are more common and why are there a difference? I have seen pieces in the 50s and also fr...

I am not familiar with the steel version as they are super rare. But it seems like most 570 before mid 60s will have raised enamel dial. One guy that I respect tremendously who has decade of experience handling various 570 told me yesterday that he will o... 

And I agree with your friend: the enamel font on the dial is very important (visually).
