my wonderful AD has offered me the blue dial 5726. Thinking about thinning out my collection and am considering offloading my 5212 and 5968 - my question is would you have the 5968 over the 5726 or vice versa and why?

wear the aquanaut as a daily, maybe once per week. The 5212 is a no brainer to offload for me. Although a fantastic dial, I have never really enjoyed it. So have only worn it for a full day once in two years. Like the suggestion of a side by side with the...

I just like the annual calendar in an everyday form. That being said a an aquanaut is super comfy on the wrist. I could see getting rid of the 5212 but out of those you posted, that would be the one I’d wear 😂

I have moved on from stuff I really liked the idea of and even the watch itself- but I never went for it when I got to the watch box. As for 5212 I just really like the font , some novelty with the 52w marker, and the case shape/lugs. I don’t keep up with... 

my thoughts: - if you want a very sporty look, you can have a bright strap (such as orange, red, etc.) on your 5968G and it would work well - overall 5726 has more functional complications vs chronograph on 5968 - Nautilus is the original design by GG Ove... 

while i really do love the aquanaut - i have never used the chrono. The Nautilus really is a grail piece for me. So, provided the price is right I am leaning towards offloading the 5968 and the 5212 and picking up the 5726. That would leave me with the 55...

a couple of months ago i picked up the skydweller. Absolutely love it. Fast becoming my daily wearer. Kind of liking the look of the new AP ROO. But otherwise I am not seeing anything that really keeps me awake at night at the moment.

In general I prefer the nautilus over the aquanaut.. An annual cal is a more useful complication compared to a chrono (unless it’s a manual lateral clutch chrono with a beautiful movement)
