That is the excact the same reason for to by the 5164a. Dual time zone for traveling handy for means the measurements as well. There was however something in me that said......

It's better proportioned. The 5968 is a bit too large and fat IMO. Not to mention the date window at 3 O'Clock makes the dial less balanced. And don't forget that the 5164A has already been out for 8 years, and it will probably be discontinued soon. Selli...

The size of the watch on your own wrist usually answers the question. The answer for me is 5164A. Personally I wouldn't want my watch to be larger. If you can 'handle' them both you can consider the functions. Do you prefer a Chrono or a Dual Time? Also; ...

I find the 5164 far more proportionate and balanced. The 5968 is very cool as well and there is naturally a novelty bias as well as secondary market bias. However if we set that aside and assume both cost and are worth the same in dollars then easily 5164...
