On my bucket list
Congratulations on the 5127. The 5127J was my first Patek and I had a good boutique experience at Beyer's in Zurich. I've bought several more Patek's but nothing has come close to the boutique experience.
Going to the Patek boutique in Geneva (and buying a watch there) has been one of my top "to do" items for a while and I thought I would do that with the 5140 but fell in love with the 3940 so it wasn't to be. But I will go there one day. What was the selection of watches like? Was almost every current production watch available?

It is very true
that getting a Patek from a Salon, is a special experience. You have nice cuff links there. But they are in the old style box. Did you buy those with the watch?' Best, Kari

I bought the cufflinks first about a year ago, even before I got my 5146. I got the correct-current style box but it is too large for travelling so I'm using a *random* jewellery box (which seems to be for a Swiss retailer) which carries the Calatrava cuf...
Something nice in the world of cuff links...
You can still find the old style Calatrava cuff links in different golds. Those do not look bad when you get your initials engraved. Best, Kari ...

5127 is very Patek...a very nice dress watch yet not boring at all. The Agatha Christie 4810 pen is another highlight. One of few Montblanc (Heimingway, Medici, Agatha and Octavian) that I like very much.
